I must say that Oliver has proven to be most wonderful as of late. Aunt Maylie has counseled me to ignore this Shirley woman, as her comport and language are obviously quite beneath a man with Oliver's education. I expect that Oliver will propose any day now, though he seems hesitant to bring up the subject at all . . .
